Dennis Hayashi
CFO, President & Senior Biologist
Mr. Hayashi has over twenty five years experience as a manager in the fields of environmental engineering, project management, environmental construction and cost control. He is presently the CFO and Partner in AquaBio Environmental Technologies, Inc. He combines these responsibilities while overseeing all on site & field work. His background in environmental construction, wetland construction, groundwater contamination remediation and interfacing with environmental enforcement agencies make him an integral component of AquaBio Environmental Technologies.
DeAna Vitela-Hayashi
CEO, Director
Since 1987, DeAna Vitela has been involved in the research, development, and application of non-pathogenic micro organic degraders, cleaners and bionutrients. She has specialized in waste water remediation using bioremediation in conjunction with phyotoremediation. As Director and Partner of AquaBio Environmental Technologies, Inc. and AquaBio Watershed Remediation and Management Division, Ms. Vitela has continued this process in the restoration of fresh water habitats and lake management. Ms. Vitela has consulted and provided her expertise for environmental engineering and remediation firms, municipal and industrial facilities, waste treatment facilities, retention basins, lakes, and aqua culture facilities, both with fresh and marine environments.
Carlos Lopez
Field Operations
Carlos Lopez began his career with AquaBio providing assistance in the field for the company's local watershed and lake management clients. Lopez has since assumed the role of Field Operations Manager and continues to provide vital logistics & field support for AquaBio's varied projects.
Katharine Tzadik
Scientist
Katharine Tzadik is AquaBio's staff scientist assisting in the analysis of data, research and development. She has a BSc in Biology and an MSc in Marine Environmental Protection. Her previous experience has taken her abroad managing conservation projects and monitoring coral reefs, rivers and forests. Kat is currently on loan to the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) working on the Southeast Florida Coral Reef Initiative (SFCRI).
Ori Tzadik
Biologist
Orian Tzadik has been on staff with AquaBio since 2006 aiding AquaBio mainly with their various lake management & weed abatement projects in California. He is currently abroad finishing an MSc in Biological Oceanography.
Michael Paul Henderson
General Operations
Michael Paul Henderson worked his way through ranks of Reebok
Fitness Associates
eventually serving dual duties as Graphic Design Director and National Product Support Manager for Reebok Fitness Associates from 1998 through 2006. Henderson also became a corporate partner as Vice President of Los Angeles design firm
Big Bang Group, Inc. in 2003, until taking over as President in 2004.
As of 2007, Henderson began work with AquaBio to provide design, marketing and technology services for AquaBio Environmental Technologies, eventually assuming the role of AquaBio's General Operations Manager.
Cathrene Diane Glick, PG, CEG, CHG
Hydrogeologist
Ms. Glick has over 30 years of experience in engineering geology, groundwater hydrology, watershed basin evaluations, environmental management, discharge permitting and regulatory compliance, earthquake engineering, geotechnical engineering, and construction technology in private industry and with the federal government.
She has performed and managed preliminary and detailed assessments for assessment of leaking surface and underground storage tanks, for electroplating surface impoundment closures, for the development and sustained use of groundwater resources, for groundwater seepage and hillside drainage controls, and for landfill closure investigations. Specific projects have included: groundwater basin hydrogeologic modeling for extended development purposes (commercial, residential, and military use), subsurface characterization investigations, ground water characterization studies, determining soil and hydraulic characteristics of aquifer materials, contaminant migration assessments, sensitive receptor risk assessments, professional oversight during tank closures, and remedial feasibility studies. She has also provided professional oversight of landfill gas extraction wells and perimeter gas collection/monitoring systems.
